This Privacy Policy explains what information yolo (“yolo”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects when you use yolo.casa, the yolo web app, the yolo Telegram bot, yolo AI and related services (the “Services”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It is part of our Terms of Service.
yolo is built on a public blockchain. Your wallet address and every transaction it makes are public and permanent on Sui, visible to anyone, and cannot be changed or deleted by us or anyone else.
1.Information we collect
Information you give us or link to yolo.
- Login details: your email address, or the identifier and basic profile (such as name, username and picture) of the Google, X, Apple, Discord or Telegram account or passkey you log in with. Login is handled by Privy, which shares these with us.
- Profile details you add: username, display name, avatar, bio, social links, clan membership, follows and settings.
- Content you post: posts, comments, reactions, OTC offers, and the names, images and descriptions of coins you launch.
- yolo AI chats: your messages, the answers, the tools the assistant used, and any ratings or feedback you give.
- Telegram link: if you connect the yolo bot, your Telegram user ID, username and the messages you send the bot.
- Messages you send us, such as support requests.
Wallet and on-chain information. Your wallet addresses (embedded, external and trading wallets), balances, positions, orders, transactions, and the transactions we build, sponsor or sign for you. Most of this is already public on the blockchain. We also index it to show your portfolio, profit and loss, feeds and leaderboards.
Settings for automated features. Your instant trading limits, limit and plan orders, take profit and stop loss, copy trading targets, sniper rules, price alerts and notification preferences.
Information collected automatically.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Usage and log data: pages and features used, requests to our servers, errors, timestamps and performance data. We use our own server logs for this and do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.
- Push notification tokens: if you turn on alerts, the subscription your browser or device creates so we can send them.
- Cookies and local storage: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a referral cookie that remembers who invited you for 30 days, and settings stored in your browser (such as layout, sounds and chart preferences). We do not use cookies for advertising.
Information from others. Privy (login and wallet status), Coinbase (the status, amounts and identifiers of deposits and cash outs you start through yolo; Coinbase handles any identity checks and card or bank details, which we do not receive), NEAR Intents (withdrawal status), Telegram, and public blockchain data.
2.How we use information
We use information to:
- provide the Services: log you in, set up and show your wallets, build and send transactions, sponsor gas, run instant trading, orders, copy trading, the sniper and alerts, process deposits, cash outs and withdrawals, and show your portfolio and history;
- run yolo AI, including sending your chats to our AI provider to produce answers;
- run social features, profiles, feeds, leaderboards, clans, XP, chests and referral rewards;
- send notifications you asked for, by push, in the app or on Telegram, and service messages about your account;
- keep the Services and users safe: rate limiting, preventing fraud, abuse, spam and sponsorship or reward abuse, screening wallets and locations for sanctions and restricted jurisdictions, and investigating incidents;
- understand how the Services are used, fix bugs and improve features, including reviewing and evaluating yolo AI chats to improve answers, unless you opt out (see Section 6);
- meet legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and establish or defend legal claims.
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (providing the Services), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention and improving the Services, balanced against your rights), your consent (for example push notifications, which you can withdraw), and legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4.How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it, unless we must keep it longer for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention or dispute reasons. For example:
- yolo AI chats stay in your history until you delete them. Logs of AI use kept for security and improvement are kept for a limited period set by us.
- Server and security logs are kept for a limited period, unless needed to investigate an incident.
- Records of deposits, cash outs, fees and sponsored transactions may be kept for as long as financial and legal rules require.
On-chain data is permanent and outside our control. Content others have copied or shared may also remain.
5.Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls and limits on what our signing keys can do. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us or of third-party services. You are responsible for keeping your login, devices and keys safe. We never ask for your private key or seed phrase.
6.Your choices
- yolo AI. Turn on “Don’t use my chats to improve yolo AI” in Settings to stop your chats being used to improve the assistant. They are still processed to answer you and kept for security. You can delete chats from your history.
- Notifications. Turn push, Telegram and each type of alert on or off in Settings, or in your browser or device settings.
- Instant trading. Turn it off in Settings to remove yolo’s signing permission for new actions.
- Telegram. Disconnect the bot in Settings.
- Profile and content. Edit or remove your profile details and posts in the app.
- Account data. Ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold by writing to [email protected]. We will delete what we can, but we cannot delete on-chain data, and we may keep some records as described in Section 4.
- Cookies. You can clear cookies and site data in your browser. This logs you out and resets local settings.
- Do Not Track. There is no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so we do not respond to them. We do not track you across other sites.
7.Privacy rights by region
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information. We will honor them as the law requires.
EEA, UK and Switzerland. You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
California and other U.S. states. You may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for those purposes. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. You may use an authorized agent, and if we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision.
To make a request, write to [email protected] from the email linked to your account, or sign a message with your wallet if we ask. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we respond within the time the law requires.
8.International transfers
We and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries that may have different data protection laws than where you live. When we transfer personal data out of the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or our providers’ equivalent commitments.
9.Children
The Services are only for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will close the account and delete the information we can. If you believe a minor is using yolo, contact [email protected].
10.Third-party sites and services
The Services link to and connect with sites, wallets and protocols we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies. This Privacy Policy does not cover them.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top, and for material changes we may also tell you in the app. Using the Services after an update means you accept it.
12.Contact
